From workshops to individual group classes and multi-week programs, we work closely with community centers, women's shelters, and homeless shelters in under-resourced areas to bring programming unique to the needs of each group.

WHAT IS MINDFULNESS?

Mindfulness is "paying attention, on purpose, without judgement" (Jon Kabat-Zinn) and is rooted in the practice of compassion, both for self and others. When we pay attention non-judgmentally and compassionately to our experiences, inner and outer, we become more connected to ourselves, our emotions, and our mental and physical experiences. This grants us the ability to respond rather than react and to remain kind and connected when life takes unexpected turns. 

OUR PROGRAMS

Our unique, peer-reviewed programs combine scientifically-backed mindfulness theory and education with practical skills developed and enhanced through the practices of meditation, mindful movement and yoga, self-compassion, and mindful communication. 

8-WEEK SERIES
(EIRT)

Emotional Intelligence and Resilience Training (EIRT) is a program that was originally designed for law enforcement, but can be uniquely tailored for any population (trauma-sensitive or otherwise). With elements from Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness-Based Resilience Training (MBRT), and Yoga for First Responders (YFFR), EIRT is a collaborative program designed to intimately connect us to our bodies and minds in every moment.

2-DAY INTENSIVES

If the full 8-week programming doesn't fit you or your group's needs, a 2-day intensive version of EIRT provides the same curriculum in a more immediate and immersive way. The benefits of these programs comes from regular practices of mediation and mindful awareness, and this program introduces, through direct experience, what that feels like in the body and mind. A great way for novices and experienced meditators to come together and connect to the benefits of the practice.

WORKSHOPS, CLASSES & TALKS

From single to multi-day, trauma-sensitive to corporate mindset, meditation to yoga instruction, and simple talks and mindfulness education, workshops and classes can be tailored to the unique needs of your business or group.

BUY ONE, GIVE ONE MODEL

Our "buy one, give one" business model works with corporations and law enforcement groups to connect businesses and those who serve the community with the communities themselves. Customized programs to these groups donates a similar program to a community center or shelter free of charge.
